This weekend Amy and I will be attending the Type-A Parent Bootcamp Conference at the Disneyland Hotel. One of the sponsors is Life360. I have been using this app ever since my daughter started to drive. I want to tell you a short story about how I used the app in an unconventional way!
Last year for my daughter’s 19th birthday, her dad bought her two tickets for the Taylor Swift concert. For several months before the event, I would ask her who she was going to take with her. She said that she had invited one of her girlfriends. I would give her the guilt trip and say, “Awww, Holly, why aren’t you taking me?”
As the day was getting closer and closer, I continued to ask her who she was taking and give her a hard time for not taking me. The morning of the concert, I said, “Have fun at the concert!” and gave her the pout face. I could tell she genuinely felt bad for me but she was still excited to be going herself.
Later that day, Amy picked me up and we headed out for a fun evening of our own.
My daughter was texting me from the concert and I wasn’t responding to her. She finally asked, “Where are you, mom?”
I sent her this picture!
She responded, “Are you here???” I said, “Yes!!!”
She was all, “Mommmmm, you are even closer to the stage, I want to come up by you!!!”
Check out our Facebook post for the evening!
It was hilarious! Yes, with Life360 she could even tell that our seats were closer to the stage than she was.
Thank you to Life360 for being such a special part of this evening.
Parents, I can’t recommend this app strongly enough. It has saved me time and time again from worrying when she first started to drive. Instead of having her text me to let me know that she arrived to her destination safely, I am able to just check Life360 and I know that she is where she needs to be and I don’t need to worry.

Disclaimer: This is not a compensated post, I truly love this app and have recommended this app to many other moms in the past. I even recommended it to one of the speakers at the Type-A Parent conference and she absolutely loves it! Read Marcy Massura’s post about it that she wrote after I shared the app with her!
Aww, this is the BEST! I’m so glad we were able to be there for you!
