Today we went to the Big Bite Event‘s Bacon Fest at the Queen Mary. It was such a well-organized event. The samples were filling. The lines were great. I think there were only a couple times that we really had to wait at all. All of the vendors were very friendly and we are looking forward to going back next year.
We started our day with this yumminess. It was delicious and we didn’t think that anything else would be able to top this.
Fry Fry is family owned and operated with this sixteen year old at the wheel serving deep fried stuffed bacon twinkies!
If you love craft brews, this is one event you do not want to miss.
Oh, this stuffed pepper with cheese and shrimp wrapped in bacon was delicious ~ spicy but delicious.
Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood’s milkshake was to die for.
Oh this was a bacon bar mixed with pretzels and chips. This was one not to be missed, definitely one of our favorites of the day.
Slaters 50/50 had one of the longest lines of the day but no worries, it moved so fast. At that point, you were more than stuffed anyways, so you were willing to wait.
Oh so worth the wait. It turned out to be another one of our favorites of the day.
I honestly do not like beer but I had to try this root beer flavored beer. I was surprised that I actually liked it!
Oh these bacon sliders were ah-mazing! Oh we were in hog heaven here!
Not only did they have food and drinks, they also had live music, games and a maze for the entire family.
No words are really necessary. You know you want this.
We walked by this booth at the end of the day. We were in a food coma at this point, we couldn’t bring ourselves to try it. I hope that they are back next year.
Everyone seemed to be so friendly and having a great time.
We saw this couple as we were walking out. They have no idea what bacon yumminess awaits them.
