Each year, we choose one weekend to celebrate the holidays at one of the hotels in Downtown Disney. We have stayed at both Grand California and Disneyland Hotel.
We love visiting Disneyland during the holidays and checking on the reindeer and saying hello to the pardoned Presidential turkey.
One of the most special things that we look forward to when staying at the hotel is that when we arrive we have our very own Disneyland Christmas Tree waiting for us in our room.
Not only do we have a Christmas tree in our room but we also have stockings filled with Mickey surprises!
At the end of our stay, we simply place the tree in the box and we take it home to save as a special Disney Christmas family heirloom to enjoy for years to come.
