When we travel to Hawaii, we always make sure we stop by the Dole Plantation on our way to the North Shore. Originally a fruit stand beginning in 1950, it opened to the public as Hawaii’s “Pineapple Experience” in 1989. Today, more than one million visitors stop at the Dole Plantation. It is easily one of Oahu’s most popular visitor attractions and one of our favorite stops.
We had fun pretending to be a pineapple. We rode in the pineapple express, and we went through the World’s Largest Maze!

How funny, I just posted a Hawaii post as well! We went to Oahu for our honeymoon three years ago and loved the dole whip when we visited the plantation. I want to go back to this island for this and also the artichoke surprise we had somewhere on the north shore 🙂

Oh were you able to go to Jameson’s by the Sea in the North Shore or stop at turtle beach?
We were just there! We went because my grandparents had been there a while back and said we had to go!
