WHAT IS CHILL?
CHILL is The Queen Mary’s annual frozen holiday event highlighted by The Ice Kingdom, featuring more than two million pounds of ice hand carved into the spectacular story of the Nutcracker. There’s a six-lane ice tubing run, ice skating, the world’s largest rocking horse, world’s largest snowman bouncy, food, beverages and cocktails plus daily entertainment, retail outlets and much more.
THE ICE KINGDOM
THE STORY OF THE NUTCRACKER
Step inside their frozen igloo and immerse yourself in an enchanting world of ice and enjoy the dazzling story of The Nutcracker – handmade entirely out of ice. Their 13,000 square foot winter wonderland features over 2 million pounds of ice as each exhibit is meticulously created by an international team of expert ice sculptors and enhanced with stunning lights and colors for a visually captivating experience unlike any other.
This holiday season, The Ice Kingdom allows you to be a part of The Nutcracker story, following little Clara and her Nutcracker through her adventures on one cold Christmas Eve Night as they battle the Mouse King and his army. But don’t forget to grab a parka and gloves – temperatures drop to a numbing 9-degrees in our igloo.

QUEEN MARY ICE TUBING
The newest mountain for wintery fun in Southern California is now at the Queen Mary. It’s cold. It’s fast. It stands at 2 stories tall, 100-feet long. And it’s made entirely out of ice.
While the view from the peak of the ice slide may be dazzling, the real thrill occurs on the way down. Grab an oversized tube and feel the chill as you barrel down at bone-chilling speeds. Reach the peak of excitement in this brr—eath-taking adventure.
OUTDOOR ICE SKATING
Enjoy a perfect holiday evening by ice skating at the Queen Mary’s world class 6,500 square-foot outdoor ice rink. Feel the crisp Pacific Ocean air dance on your face while you bunny hop, swizzle and twizzle your way across their outdoor rink.
Located in front of the ship and built with real ice, the majestic Queen Mary provides a stunning backdrop for a winter tradition that is not to be missed.
